We’re so excited to be bringing Christmas magic to the heart of Porthleven this December — and we’d love to have you join us.
This year we’re doing things a little differently. The Little Porthleven Christmas Market Weekends moves indoors into our beloved Shipyard Market — cosy, weatherproof, and full of festive atmosphere across not one but THREE weekends in December. Whether you’re a returning Christmas market trader or applying for the first time, read on for everything you need to know.
The Dates
Weekend 1: Friday 4th – Sunday 6th December 2026
Friday 4th December: 11.00am – 7.00pm (Porthleven Light Switch-On)
Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th December: 10.00am – 5.00pm
Weekend 2: Saturday 12th – Sunday 13th December 2026: 10.00am – 5.00pm
Weekend 3: Saturday 19th – Sunday 20th December 2026: 10.00am – 5.00pm
What’s On Offer
We have three pitch types available, all priced per trading day. Each trader is allocated one weekend only to begin with — if spaces remain after the first round of allocations, we may offer additional weekends to those who would like them.
🎄 Centre Table Pitch — £42.00 inc VAT per day
A 1.5m table provided by us, positioned down the centre of the Shipyard Market. Perfect for makers and sellers with a compact, well-presented display.

Please note: Tablecloths are not provided — bring your own. Traders may sell from one side of the table only. No additional stall setups, display structures, or extra tables are permitted.
No power supply is available at Centre Table pitches — battery-powered devices only.

🎄 Premium Pitch — £78.00 inc VAT per day (Pitches 4 & 12)
A full 3m x 3m indoor pitch space with power supply included — use your usual stall setup within your allocated footprint.
2 spaces available per weekend
🎄 Premium Pitch 5 (Reduced Rate) — £70.00 inc VAT per day
A full 3m x 3m indoor pitch space with power supply included. Please note that Pitch 5 is offered at a reduced rate due to a fire exit located within the pitch space — a small section must remain accessible at all times.
1 space available per weekend
🎄 Outdoor Gazebo Pitch — £26.40 inc VAT per day
Bring your own gazebo and trade along the sheltered side of the Shipyard Market building (along the mural wall). A great option if you prefer your own setup and space.
Power is not included in the gazebo pitch price. If you require access to a 13A outdoor socket, please indicate this prior to your application — a small additional charge will apply and will be confirmed at the point of allocation.
Please note: Gazebo pitches are weather-dependent and taken entirely at your own risk. Gazebo weights (minimum 10kg per leg) are mandatory — you will not be permitted to set up without them. Your Public Liability Insurance must explicitly cover outdoor trading.

How to Apply
Applications are made via our Eventaly booking platform. Please select your preferred pitch type and your preferred weekend when applying.
Applications close: Sunday 6th September 2026 Allocations confirmed by: Friday 11th September 2026
Due to limited capacity, this is not a first-come, first-served process — all applications will be reviewed by Market Management after the deadline. Submitting an application does not guarantee a pitch.
Important Information
Payment Upon allocation, you will receive an invoice. Payment must be made in full within 14 days via Stripe. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received. We will not be chasing payments or sending reminders — if payment is not received within 14 days and other applications are pending, your booking will be cancelled.
No Refunds Strictly no refunds will be issued once payment has been made. If you no longer wish to take up your pitch before payment, please cancel via Eventaly. Market Management cannot process cancellations on your behalf.
No Modifications Once allocated, Market Management cannot modify your pitch type or weekend date via the booking system.
Insurance All traders must hold valid Public Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of £1 million. Outdoor gazebo traders must ensure their policy explicitly covers outdoor trading. Proof of PLI must be available on request.
Weather & Cancellations The indoor market will operate in all but the most severe weather conditions. In the event of cancellation due to adverse weather conditions as advised by the Met Office weather warning system, traders will be offered a credit to a future Porthleven Market trading date. No refunds will be issued.
Outdoor gazebo pitches may be suspended on any day where Market Management deems conditions unsafe, regardless of whether the indoor market continues. In these circumstances a credit will be offered — no refund will be issued.
The Full Terms & Conditions Please download and read the full Supplementary Terms & Conditions before applying. By submitting an application you are confirming you have read and agreed to these terms.
You can express a preference for more than one weekend on your application, but initially each trader will be allocated one weekend only. If spaces remain after the first round of allocations, we may offer additional weekends — but this cannot be guaranteed.
For Premium Pitches (4, 5 & 12) you will need to specify which pitch number you are applying for. For Centre Table and Gazebo pitches, specific positions will be allocated by Market Management.
No — all traders must apply through Eventaly regardless of previous participation. There are no reserved or guaranteed spaces.
If your preferred weekend is fully subscribed, your application may not be successful. We are unable to automatically move you to an alternative weekend via the booking system, so please make sure you apply early. We will automatically add you to a waiting list for the date if your application is unsuccessful in case of cancellations.
Centre Table pitch traders will have a 1.5m table provided — but please bring your own tablecloth and any display items. All other pitch types should bring their own full setup as usual.
To ensure comfortable flow through the market, a one-way visitor system will be in operation throughout all three weekends. Full details will be shared with allocated traders prior to the event.
Staggered setup times will be allocated to each trader prior to the event to ensure a smooth and safe setup process. Full details will be confirmed closer to the time.
The indoor market is sheltered and weatherproof — it will go ahead in all but the most extreme weather conditions. Outdoor gazebo pitches may be suspended if Market Management deems conditions unsafe, in which case a credit will be offered for a future trading date.
