Trade at the Porthleven Market
Stalls and Pitches
- Oak Pergolas – There are 7 oak pergola stalls. Each has an overall size of 3.3 metres x 3.3 metres.
- Wooden huts are sized 1.8m x 2.4m. These are full for 2024.
- Gazebo pitches – Six pitches on the harbour head are 3m x 3m and three larger double gazebo pitches sized 6m x 3m .
- Electric points (13 amp) are available in all areas apart from The Harbour Head grassed gazebo pitches, and in The Shipyard Market each space is equipped with plug sockets.
- The Shipyard Market has two spaces which are 3m x 3m. This indoor market also has permanent retail, an art space and food hall located in the old shipyard behind the harbour.
Traders need to provide their own gazebo for Harbour Head grassed pitches, and in all market areas will need to bring their own tables, extension leads, displays and Public Liability Insurance. Pitches are sold as spaces only.
Market Opening 2024
- The Shipyard Market is our first area of the year to open, and this year opens on in February – just in time for the February half term. It then continues to open right through until the new year, and closes each January.
- The Shipyard Market also hosts regular events, workshops and art exhibtions – if you would like to enquire about collaborating or using the space, please email us on info@porthlevenharbourmarkets.co.uk
- The Shipyard Market opens from Wednesday to Sunday during spring and autumn, and then Tuesday to Sunday throughout summer.
- The Outdoor Porthleven Market areas are open from April to the end of October. In the Spring and the Autumn the market days are every: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and 7 days a week during the peak summer months of July, August and early September.
- In all market areas, there may be some additional festive Christmas markets which will be advertised nearer the time – keep an eye on our social media for more information on these.
